Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of April 24th to May 1st:
April 24
- Gavin Runkle of Rushville was cited for Operating a Vehicle with Expired Registration Sticker
- Elijah Norton of Littleton was driving a Volkswagon and struck a deer on RT 99 near Briggs Bottom Lane
April 25
- William Morrow of Macomb was cited for Driving While License Suspended & Speeding 71mph in a 55mph zone
- Robert Malone of Augusta was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $3000 with 10% to apply, Malone posted $300 and was released
April 26
- Samuel Hetrick of Littleton was driving a 2007 Volvo and struck a deer on RT 99 near Briggs Bottom Lane
- Marie Dieme of Beardstown was driving a 2021 Hyundai Elantra and struck a deer on RT 67 near Log Cabin Rd
April 27
- Norma Lane of Browning was driving a 2012 Ford Edge and struck a deer on RT 100 near Adams Rd
April 28
- Larry Burke of Rushville was driving a 2015 Ford Sedan and struck an animal on RT 67 near Wilson St\
April 29
- Krista Lyles of Industry was driving a 2018 Dodge Durango. Lyles was travelling north on Acheson Rd, observed a deer in the roadway, lost control in the wet grass and slid down into a creek. No injuries were reported
April 30
- Lecah Owens of Rushville was cited for Speeding 72mph in a 55mph zone
- A juvenile of Rushville was driving a 2009 Pontiac Coupe. The juvenile was travelling North on RT 67 and lost control of the vehicle and the vehicle overturned. There were 2 additional juvenile passengers, all subjects were transported to the hospital with non- life threatening injuries
