Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of July 3rd to July 10th:
July 4
- Sidney Kettering of Rushville was driving a 2022 Chevrolet Pick-Up and was attempting to leave the Schuyler CO Fairgrounds and accelerated by mistake and hit the rear of Todd Shaw of Troy who was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Pick-Up, which made Shaw hit Jeff Bauman who was driving a 2021 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, then Bauman hit Amber Bauman of Fowler who was driving a 2014 Ford Utility. No injuries were reported
- Raissa Astride of Beardstown was driving a 2013 Ford Utility and backed into Camry Sears of Mt. Sterling who was driving a 2015 Jeep Utility at the Schuyler Co Fairgrounds
July 5
- Kevin Morales of Beardstown was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $250 cash, Morales posted bond and was released
July 6
- Michael LeBegue of Rushville was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and struck a deer on RT67 near McDonough Co Line
July 7
- Kialee Smith of Rushville was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox and struck a deer on RT24 near Kalebaugh Rd
- Amelia Wolfe of Macomb was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and struck a deer on RT 101 near Center Rd
July 8
- David McCormick of Rushville was cited for No Valid Driver’s License July 9

- Gail Self of Beardstown was cited for Escape/Failure to Report to a Penal Institution
