    Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold. To prevent water pipes from freezing; wrap or drain or allow them to drip slowly.

Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of July 10th to July 17th:

July 13

  • Megan Ramirez of Rushville was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry struck a deer on Sugar Grove Rd near Hatfield Rd
  • A juvenile was involved in an ATV accident at Brushy Ridge Motorsports, the juvenile was airlifted from the scene
  • Elijah Allen of Astoria was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $1000 with 10% to apply. Allen posted $100 and was released

July 14

  • Kathy Kline of Rushville was cited for Possession of Meth less than 5grams & Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Jase Cardenas of Rushville was cited for Speeding 80mph in a 55mph zone
  • De La Rosa Jesus Zapata of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 75mph in a 55mph zone

July 15

  • Ashley Janet De La Cruz of Beardstown was driving a 2010 Mazda 3 struck Sandra Lundje of Springfield who was driving a 2017 Ford Edge. Lundje was slowing down for another vehicle and De La Cruz rear ended Lundje.
  • Jennifer Locklear of Beardstown was driving a 2006 Buick Lucerne & was travelling northbound on RT 67 near Open Arms Rd. Locklear left the roadway into the ditch, then back onto the roadway coming to a stop on the shoulder of the road. There were occupants in the vehicle, subjects were transported to CMH.

July 16

  • Kylie Montgomery of Astoria was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $2500 with 10% to apply, Montgomery post $250 and was released
  • Martin Blanco of Oak Lawn was cited for Speeding 80mph in 55mph
  • Joel Rodriguez of Beardstown was cited for Speeding 71mph in a 55mph zone
