Schuyler Co Sheriff Bill Redshaw reports the following activity in Schuyler Co for the week of October 9th to October 16th:

Oct 10

  • Jesus Morales-Rodriquez of Quincy was cited for Speeding 70mph in a 55mph zone & No Valid Driver’s License
  • Jacob Kruzan of Canton was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $20,000 with 10% to apply, Kruzan remains lodged in the Schuyler Co Jail

Oct 11

  • Leon Peck of Chicago was arrested on a Schuyler Co Warrant with a bond amount of $10,000 with 10% to apply, Peck remains lodged in the Schuyler Co Jail

Oct 12

  • Robert Hanning of Huntsville was driving a 2016 Toyota Sedan and struck a deer on Camden Rd near Terwilliger Rd
  • Tracy Keithly of Beardstown was driving a 2011 Nissan Utility and struck a deer on Rt 67 near RT 101
  • Schuyler Co Sheriff’s Dept assisted at a vehicle fire at D&D Scrap Yard

Oct 13

  • Kyle Adkins of Buffalo was cited for Speeding 71mph in a 55mph zone & Operating an Uninsured Vehicle

Oct 14

  • Alex Zabuski of Beardstown was arrested for Burglary

Oct 15

  • Junior Kalonji of Beardstown was cited for Transportation of Alcohol, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident & 2 counts of DUI. Kalonji was driving a 2018 Dodge Utility and was travelling south on Bartlow Spur, crossed the center line and struck a fence, utility pole and a fire hydrant, a passenger was sent to CMH.
  • Desmond Cardoza of Rushville was cited for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol
  • Blake Dowers of Smithshire was cited for Speeding 92mph in a 55mph zone
  • Marissa Ellis of Valparaiso, IN was cited for Speeding 76mph in a 55mph zone

Oct 16

  • Keegan Lynch of Beardstown was driving a 2018 Toyota RAV 4 and was travelling Northeast on Vermont Rd when she failed to negotiate a curve and went off the roadway into a ditch, no injuries were reported
