State Senator Li Arellano Jr. has completed his Summer Legislative Session Recap Town Hall tour across the 37th Senate District. Making stops in Dixon, Geneseo, Rochelle, and Chillicothe, the Senator engaged directly with residents, discussing key community and statewide concerns. Topics ranged from rising costs and taxes to ethics reform, pension woes, and the state’s continued funding of abortion services. Agriculture support was also raised by attendees. Senator Arellano emphasized the importance of constituent feedback in shaping legislation, expressing gratitude for the turnout and promising continued dialogue in future meetings throughout the district.
“These town halls provide citizen feedback and input that is important for my duties as a legislator,” said Senator Arellano. “I’m here to have real conversations. When constituents show up to voice their thoughts, they help shape the work I do in Springfield. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to participate because their voices make a difference.”
