Update 7:22 PM: Winds from the back side of the system are hitting Kewanee.
Update 6:25 PM: Line of storms capable of 70 mph winds near Colona headed east.
Update 6:05 PM: Tornado Warning for radar-indicated rotation west of Blue Grass, Iowa, headed East following Highway 61. Shelf cloud reported at 6:09 PM near Hamlet in Mercer County. News 8 said the storm will be near Geneseo and Prophestown.
We will post severe weather updates on this page. There is a line of storms to our west that have produced tornadoes. Part of the listening area is under a tornado watch until 11 PM Wednesday night. As of 5:30 PM, the storms are on the Iowa side, approaching the Illinois border. They are strengthen as they move east.
