Artists in Kewanee have a unique opportunity to showcase their talents at the upcoming Prairie Chicken Arts Festival on July 18th and 19th. The event, hosted at 306 North Main Street, welcomes entries in photography, painting, graphic art, and three-dimensional art. Participants are encouraged to submit up to three pieces each. Entry forms and additional information are available both at the Kewanee Public Library and through the festival’s website. Organizers say this annual event celebrates local creativity and aims to strengthen the community’s appreciation for the arts. Artists of all experience levels are encouraged to participate. Submissions are now being accepted. There is a limit of four entries per artist.
