Residents of Kewanee, please take note of the upcoming water main repair scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2024. The repair will affect several households along Park Ave, Grove St, Cottage St, Park Row, and Prospect St, starting at 8 AM. Those living in the specified areas will be without water into the early afternoon and will be placed under a boil order for 24-48 hours following the restoration of the service. Affected households are advised to run cold water until it clears and avoid using hot water to prevent rust from entering the water heater. The boil order applies only to water used for consumption.
