In LaSalle County, a robbery at the Sand Man Motel on Illinois Route 251 led to an early morning police response on Monday, September 16, 2024. A victim was hospitalized but has since been released. After identifying suspects, deputies, assisted by Spring Valley Police, arrested Tony M. Wright, 20, of Spring Valley, on charges of robbery. Wright is now held at LaSalle County Jail. The investigation remains active.
