MACOMB, IL – St. Paul Women’s Guild of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Macomb has announced that they will be sponsoring their annual Cookie Walk fundraiser which will be held Friday and Saturday, December 2nd and 3rd.
This year’s Cookie Walk has been moved from its previous location, to instead be held in the Conference Room in the Macomb City Hall at 232 East Jackson St.
Friday’s festivities will start run from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. with whole trays of homemade cookies and candies available for purchase for $6.00 per pound, in addition to a wide variety of pies, breads, and pastries which will be priced individually. The Cookie Walk will resume on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Our selection varies every year, so its always amazing to see what people decided to bake this year. I mean, I’m a little biased but St. Paul Parish has some of the most fabulous bakers in the area,” says Cheryl McGowan.
The Cookie Walk will be taking place alongside the Dickens on the Square event which will be held in the historic Downtown Macomb Square.
