Stay Safe During Thursday Morning Commute, Especially on Sidewalks and Parking Lots

As of 2:30 AM on February 6th, the precipitation has stopped in Kewanee. My driveway, including the rock part, is icy. The road was good except a few slick spots. The National Weather Service advises motorists to slow down and beware of black ice on the roadways along the I-80 corridor. The further north from I-80, the worst the ice. Remember…shuffle like a penguin on ice to avoid falling and slow down on the roads to better react should you hit ice.
