Black Hawk College East Campus in Galva is set to host “Strong Enough to Bend,” an event tailored specifically for women involved in agriculture. The event is scheduled for January 29, 2026, at 6 PM. Attendees will hear from Adrienne DeGuffer, an agricultural mental health specialist, delivering an empowering message about resilience and leadership. Guests can expect laughter, camaraderie, and practical advice on turning breakdowns into breakthroughs. The evening promises coffee, dessert, and a celebration of the strength and vulnerability woven into women’s lives on the farm. There’s no charge to attend, but reservations are required through local county Farm Bureaus by January 23rd.
