The Kewanee Area United Way is gearing up for its 2025 “Shoes for Kids” initiative, aiming to provide brand-new shoes to local children entering pre-K through 8th grade. Families with up to three qualifying children are eligible to apply for these much-needed resources ahead of the fall school term. Community support is being urged, as every donation helps ensure that all students have the proper footwear to start the year.
