MACOMB, IL – The Macomb Area Convention & Visitor’s Bureau (MACVB) has announced the return of SURVIVAL CHALLENGE to Unforgettable Forgottonia for its sixth season, once again bringing the same high level of competition and epic challenges that has been the hallmark of the hit television show only in Macomb, Illinois.
This 5-day event is open to the public from Thursday, July 3rd to Sunday, July 7th, and spectators are invited to watch the competition as players test themselves while enduring harsh elements and intense competitive challenges against top-notch contestants, all in an attempt be the sole survivor. Competitors will be pushing their physical, social and strategic skills to the limit while enjoying food and beverages and even meeting former cast members from the hit television show “SURVIVOR” who often watch with you and even compete alongside participants.
Nearly 30 former Survivor cast members have attended Survival Challenge over the years including, Joel Klug, Troy “Troyzan” Roberts, Nina Poersch, Boo Bernis, Dr. Jill Behm, Twila Tanner, Spencer Bledsoe, Brooke Struck, Kelly “Purple Kelly” Shinn, and even “Survivor” season one winner Richard Hatch.
SURVIVAL CHALLENGE is a charitable event, faithfully simulating the popular television reality show, and is held once a year in a remote location in Unforgettable Forgottonia.
