Residents in and around Princeton have a reason to celebrate this Thanksgiving. Three local churches, including the Evangelical Covenant Church, St. Louis Catholic Church, and Christ Community Church, are continuing their 24-year tradition of providing free Thanksgiving dinners, on November 28, 2024, from 11 AM to 1 PM. Reservations are required. This year the meals will not be served in-house but will be available for curbside pick-up or home delivery. The festive meal includes turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, green beans, a dinner roll, and a choice of apple or pumpkin pie. Those interested should make reservations by 5 PM on November 27th by visiting eccprinceton.org/Thanksgiving or contacting Tad Smith at 815-878-5473.
