The 12th Annual Bishop Hill Chautauqua Celebration is on August 24, 2024

The 2024 Bishop Hill Chautauqua is set to captivate audiences with historical portrayals in Bishop Hill on August 24th. The event features portrayals of significant figures like Amelia Earhart and Mary Lincoln. Activities start at 11 AM in the village park gazebo, with breaks for lunch and a Swedish ‘Fika’. The day concludes with a dinner theater showcasing Patsy Cline. Admission is free, but dinner costs $35, and reservations are required. Please call P.L. Johnson’s to make a reservation at 309-927-3885 before 5 PM on August 20th. The Commons is located at 309 North Bishop Hill Street.
