Kewanee High School is poised to mark a century of musical excellence with its “100 Years of the Kewanee High School Band” concert. On May 11, 2024, at 7:00 pm, the Alumni and Friends All Star Wind Ensemble will take the stage at Petersen Auditorium. The concert, sponsored by the Kewanee Schools Foundation, aims to raise $7,000 for a new PA system to enhance the school’s band performances. Tickets are priced at $5, with additional fundraising efforts including a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. Doors open at 6:15 pm.
