The 2023 Mental Health Conference “Protecting Hope” by The Henry County Mental Health Alliance is on May 24, 2023, from 7:45 AM to 3:45 PM at Black Hawk College East Campus. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Black Hawk East Campus is located at 26230 Black Hawk Road, Galva. Life can be challenging, especially these last few years. While we may struggle, it’s so vitally important that we don’t give up hope. Please join the Henry County Mental Health Alliance in learning how to protect hope by attending the 2023 mental health conference.
This conference will be highlighted by Jessica M. Schultz, Ph.D., Associate Professor of Psychology at Augustana College. Following the keynote address, multiple break-out sessions will be offered on a variety of topics related to mental wellness. Workshop sessions are available on WHOVA App. In addition to the break-out sessions, participants will have the opportunity to attend a wellness fair to learn about mental health services available in our community. A number of “self-care” demonstrations will take place throughout the day.

- General registration is $85.
- They have a limited number of complimentary tickets available for persons with lived experience and their support systems. This does not apply to organizations.
- If you wish to purchase group tickets, you will have that option on registration page. They are unable to provide a group rate.
- Registration fees will be collected through a secure online platform called STRIPE. If you are unable to process your payment online, please send a message to event organizers for further instructions.
