The 2nd Annual Enchanted Pumpkin Festival is taking over downtown Kewanee this weekend. Events are set for Saturday, October 21st, 2023 from 10 AM to 5 PM. Vendors will be on hand with fall and Halloween themed crafts, Food and Drinks will be available, and there will be a 50/50 raffle as part of the event as well. Jeanna Moore is one of the organizers of the event and she is set to be our guest on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Thursday morning on WKEI 1450 AM and 100.1 FM with more on the Enchanted Pumpkin Festival.
The event runs from 10 AM to 5 PM but the Enchanted Pumpkin Festival is also including the Kewanee Area United Way Halloween Hustle 5K which begins at 9 AM on Saturday at the Flemish American Club. You can still sign up to be part of the Halloween Hustle 5K for United Way. Go to RunSignUp.com at this link and get signed up. All proceeds from the 5K go to support the Kewanee Area United Way.
Also a highlight of the Enchanted Pumpkin Festival is a Trunk or Treat event, hosted by Good’s Furniture. Kids are invited to dress up in costume and trick or treat on October 21st in the Good’s Parking Lot. The Trunk or Treat will be up and running from 3 PM until 5 PM.
