Today, December 12th, 2025 marks a significant milestone for a remarkable young man and his amazing story. Regional Media Vice President of the Sauk Valley, Jason Gilbraith, along with his wife Erin, would like to honor their son and member of the USAF. Tech Sgt Cameron Gilbraith is celebrating his 30th birthday! Beyond the celebration of another year, they want to take this moment to recognize his extraordinary dedication, rapid achievements, and the foundation he is building for his military career and family life.
A Decade of Distinguished Service
TSGT Gilbraith’s journey began in 2014 when he entered the U.S. Air Force, graduating from Lackland AFB. In just over a decade, his career has been a testament to commitment and excellence. His assignments have taken him across the globe, enriching his experience and expertise:
- Japan
- England
- Missouri
- Texas
In addition to his diverse duty stations, he has honorably deployed twice to the Middle Eastern area, demonstrating his willingness to serve wherever he is needed most.
Soaring Through the Ranks
Soaring Through the RanksTSGT Gilbraith has truly “flown through the ranks” with astonishing swiftness. His talent, hard work, and intense focus on professional development have been key factors in his accelerated success. He quickly achieved the ranks of Staff Sergeant and Technical Sergeant. In just 11 years of service, he is already slated to become a Master Sergeant, an incredible feat that speaks volumes about his leadership potential and drive.
While he is a genuinely humble airman who doesn’t boast about his achievements, TSGT Gilbraith has received numerous awards and accolades in his career field. These accolades are well-deserved, reflecting the hundreds, if not thousands, of hours he has spent developing his peers, studying for his own advancement, and tirelessly working for his Wing. Furthermore, his commitment extends beyond the uniform, as he dedicates significant time to volunteering for various groups on and off base.
Family First
Family FirstBehind every great airman is a strong support system, and Cameron’s is truly outstanding. He is married to his amazing wife, Isabel, who is also serving our nation as in the USAF as a Senior Airman (SrA). Together, they are raising their lovely daughter, Saylor May.
No military family story is complete without a four-legged companion: Toby, their black Labrador, is a true world traveler, having accompanied Cameron to every base during his career! Tech Sgt Gilbraith’s plan of making a career is unfolding very nicely. With just nine years to go, he and his family plan on seeing as much of the world as possible and raising a fine family along the way.
Today, we honor TSGT Cameron Gilbraith not just for his years of service and professional success, but for the incredible man he is, a devoted airman, a diligent leader, and a dedicated family man.
