Monday was National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and citizens across the county found ways to thank local Law Enforcement agencies.  Clients from the Abilities Plus Adult Day Services program delivered baked goods and handmade cards to the Kewanee Police Department to thank them for their great work and service to our community.  “Abilities Plus appreciates everything they do for our community!”

The Kewanee Police Department also received treats from Peoples National Bank and Laurie and Al Streicher on National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. From the Kewanee Police Department Facebook Page “The Kewanee Police Department would like to thank Peoples National Bank, Abilities Plus, and Laurie and Al Streicher for providing pizza, baked treats, and candy for Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Officers also received kind words and appreciation from the community throughout the day. We are proud to serve the citizens of Kewanee”.
