In a shocking twist in Peoria County, 36-year-old Korie Neltner has been charged with attempted first-degree murder after allegedly assaulting his cousin. The altercation, which escalated from a prior argument, took a violent turn when Neltner reportedly used a knife to grievously wound his cousin, slicing open his abdomen. This brutal incident occurred on the evening of May 11th. Held without bail, Neltner faces charges of aggravated battery as well.
