Moline is gearing up for an extraordinary evening of music at the historic Spotlight Theatre. The Black Hawk College Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Singers, Concert Choir, and Community Chorale will present the 2024 BHC JazzFest on Thursday, May 2. The event features over 60 talented vocalists and instrumentalists from both the college and the community, alongside acclaimed guest musicians Mardra Thomas on vocals, Reggie Thomas on piano, Manuel Lopez III on drums, and Ron Wilson on bass. The evening begins with solo jazz performances from 6 p.m. at the Blueprint Bar & Lounge, followed by the main concert from 7-9 p.m. Best of all, admission is free!
