    IMPACTS
    The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 30 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures.
    PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS
    Wear appropriate clothing, a hat, and gloves. Keep pets indoors as much as possible. Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators or grills inside.

Black Hawk College to Host Community College Choir Festival in Geneseo

A grand musical treat awaits the community this Saturday, Feb 10th from 10:30 AM to Noon, as four college choirs prepare to conquer the stage at the Geneseo High School Performing Arts Center. Black Hawk College Music is the proud host of the Two-Year College Festival, a non-competitive event put on by the Illinois American Choral Directors Association. Experience the harmonies of the choirs from College of DuPage, Illinois Valley Community College, Waubonsee Community College, and Black Hawk College.
