A boil order is in effect for a large portion of Kewanee following a water main break. From the City of Kewanee:
Due to a water main disruption on Page St. Saturday the City of Kewanee Water Division has issued a BOIL ORDER for the addresses listed below. Water services have been restored, and these addresses will be under boil order for 48 – 72 hours or until water quality reports come in.
West Division St. – between S Beach St. and S Burlington Ave.
Dewey Ave. – between Birch Pl. and S Burlington Ave.
W Mill St. – between S Beach St. and S Burlington Ave.
