Bud’s dedication to the community is well known as he has donated time, money and effort to nearly every charity, event, and community happening over the last several decades. From the release by Kewanee Chamber Ambassador Club:

“Over the years Bud has helped events including Bakersville, Prairie Chicken Arts Festival, 4th of July fireworks and has supported the Kewanee Food Pantry and Salvation Army with his Buck a Bucket popcorn donations. He started the Katie’s Coats for Kids program in honor of his late wife Katie and also keeps her spirit alive by sponsoring the Katie’s Spirit Award for the Hog Days parade which was one of Katie’s favorite events.
