Bureau County Farm Bureau has announced the winners of its Annual Placemat Design Contest. The contest, associated with the Salute to Ag Breakfast, invited third graders to create placemats reflecting ‘What Agriculture Means to Me’. Of the 121 entries, Kate Mabry and Layla Stinar were honoured for Best of Show and Closest to the Theme, respectively. The winners were recognized at a breakfast event at The Barn at Hornbaker Gardens.
