Bureau County Sheriff Announces Arrest of Wyanet Man on Felony Theft Charges

On Friday, February 17th, 2023, the Bureau County Sheriff James B. Reed announced the arrest of a Wyanet resident Felony Theft Charges. According to the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, Brandon M. Daily was arrested a residence in Wyanet following the execution of a search warrant. Members of the Bureau County Sheriff’s Office, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, the TRI-Dent Narcotics Task Force were on hand for the arrest of Daily related to the investigation of a theft from Henry County among other allegations. Upon entering the residence investigators located several items related to a theft in Henry County some four weeks ago. Investigators also allege that Daily was in possession of and had used a stolen credit card. Daily was taken from the scene to the Bureau County Jail on official charges of Felony Theft over $500.00 and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card. Charges are also pending from Henry County.
