The Planning Commission will meet in Kewanee City Hall, Council Chambers at 401 E. Third Street at 7:00 PM, Thursday, February 23, 2023. There are four petitions upon which hearings will be conducted. They are discussed below.
1: Parcel 20-27-352-015 Located at the Northeast corner of North East St. and East Seventh St., Requesting Special Use Permit for the placement of an Off Premises Sign in a B-3 Business Service & Wholesale District.
2: Parcel 20-23-407-026 Located at 124 E. Prospect St., Requesting Special Use Permit for a Massage Therapy/Salon.
3: Parcel 25-04-351-003 Located in the 700 block of W. South St., Request to Rezone from R-1 One-Family Dwelling District to M-2 Manufacturing District, General, and a Special Use Permit for the placement of a Ground Mounted Solar Array.
4: Parcel 20-33-278-003 Located at 417 E. 2nd St., Request to Rezone from R-5 Multiple Family Dwelling District to B-3 Business Service & Wholesale District.
