On Monday, Grace Clucas with Lead for America, an a teacher at Visitation, gave a presentation to the City of Kewanee regarding Broadband access in the City of Kewanee. Included in Ms. Clucas’ presentation were several maps explaining access to broadband, the necessity of access, the use of broadband, across the City of Kewanee. The bottom line is that there continues to be a need for expanding broadband access in our area and that there are several opportunities coming in the near future where grants will be available to allow for such expanded access.
