The City of Colona was hit hard by the Severe Thunderstorms and Tornado that went through the area on Tuesday morning. RegionalMediaNews.com spoke with resident Jordana Pershy who tells us that several families were impacted by the storm via damage to homes and businesses, including a family that had just recently suffered through a house fire in Colona. They are going to need even more help now. Several homes were damamged. Reportedly one person suffered an injury during the storm. That person was taken to a nearby hospital but is reportedly in good condition.
