Nickolus McPherson: A Plea Hearing is scheduled for May 9, 2023, at 10 AM. As part of the plea agreement, McPherson will turn himself in to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office on May 9th to begin serving a jail sentence. McPherson is charged with Obstructing Justice (Class 4 Felony), Resisting a Peace Officer (Class 4 Felony) and Resisting (Class A Misdemeanor) for case 22CF162. McPherson is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance (Class 4 Felony) for case 21CF251. McPherson is charged with Possession of Meth <5 grams (Class 3 Felony) for case 21CF195. Rahsaan Strawder: Rahsaan Strawder remains in custody on a $1,000,000 (10%) bond. State’s Attorney Runty filed a Motion to Collect DNA from Mr. Strawder and the Motion for Collection of DNA was approved by Judge Daulton on March 29, 2023. Defense Attorney Lance Camp said his client had no objection to the motion. State’s Attorney Runty will let the Law Enforcement Agency know they can work with the Henry County Sheriff’s Office to collect a DNA swab. Mr. Strawder is charged with 2 counts of First Degree Murder (Class M Felony), 2 counts of Aggravated Batter to a child under 13 (Class X Felony) and Aggravated Battery (Amended to Class 3 Felony).
