Dale English:  State’s Attorney Runty is compiling a plea offer.  The plea deal is dependent on victim approval.  The Jury Pre-Trial was continued to November 17, 2022, at 11 AM.  English is charged with Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault Victim under 13 (Class X Felony) and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse Victim under 13 (Class 2 Felony). Scott English: Scott English remains in custody of the Henry County Jail on a $250,000 (10%) bond.   Attorney Camp said they are still in plea negotiations with State’s Attorney Runty and requested a continuance. The Jury Pre-Trial is Continued to November 17, 2022, at 11 AM.  Scott is charged with two counts of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault/Victim under 13 years of age (Class X Felony) and two counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse Victim is a family member under 18 (Class 2 Felonies). Richard McDonald:  Richard McDonald remains in custody of the Henry County Jail on a $150,000 (10%) bond.  Defense Attorney Camp said they are still waiting on Discovery.  The Jury Pre-Trial is continued to November 17, 2022, at 11 AM.  McDonald is charged with Making Terrorist Threats (Class X Felony), two violations the Sexual Offender Registration Act (Class 3 Felonies).  Read more here.

Austin Norberg:  Austin Norberg remains in the Henry County Jail on a $300,000 (10%) bond across all open cases.  The State submitted an Amendment for case 2022CF205 to add Count 5 Aggravated Battery.  Attorney Camp waived a Formal Reading of the Charges and Pleaded Not Guilty on behalf of Norberg.  Mr. Camp said he still working with the State on issues and requested a Continuance.  Austin Norberg interrupted the proceedings to say he doesn’t want any continuances and demanded the cases go to Final Pre-Trial.  Mr. Norberg said he still hasn’t gotten the video he requested at the October hearing.  Attorney Camp said the State will get him the video in the next couple days and he will review with Mr. Norberg.  Norberg said “Social media has the video and I don’t”.  The Final Pre-Trial is scheduled for November 21, 2022, at 2 PM

Norberg is charged with (22CF205) – Armed Violence with a Category II Weapon (Class X Felony), Aggravated Battery to a Peace Officer (Class 2 Felony), Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon (Class 2 Felony), Aggravated Battery/Great Bodily Harm (Class 3 Felony) and Aggravated Battery (Class 2 Felony) for the incident where he pulled a knife when Kewanee Police Officers were attempting to arrest him on a warrant.  (22CF23) – He is charged with Obstruct Justice (Class 4 Felony) from a January arrest.  (22CF24) – He is charged with Possession of Meth <5 Grams (Class 3 Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor).  Read details of his case here.

 Brandon Swank:  Brandon Swank remains in custody of the Henry County Jail on a $75,000 (10%) bond.  Attorney Camp said he needs more time to review Discovery and discuss with his client.  Jury Pre-Trial Continued to November 17, 2022, at 10 AM.  Swank was charged with Possession of a Weapon by a Felon (Class 3 Felony), Possession of less than 5 Grams Meth (Class 3 Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Class A Misdemeanor).  Read details about the case here.

William Keller:  William Keller remains in custody of the Henry County Jail on a $75,000 (10%) bond.  The Defense said they need more time to discuss the issues and negotiate with the State.  Keller is charged with Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse – Victim under 13 years of age and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse – Victim is a family member under 18 years of age.  Both are Class 2 Felonies.  Read more on the case here.

Jason Ader:  Jury Pre-Trial is continued to November 17, 2022, at 1 PM so the Defense can continue talks with the State.  Ader is charged with Aggravated Battery of a Peace Office (Class 2 Felony), Aggravated Assault with a Motor Vehicle (Class 4 Felony) and Reckless Driving (Class A Misdemeanor).  Read details about the case here.

William Borsch:  William Borsch remains in the Henry County Jail on a $200,000 (10%) bond.  Defense Attorney Breedlove was in another courtroom and unable to attend the hearing.  Attorney Aaron Dyer covered for Attorney Breedlove and requested a Continuance to November 17, 2022, at 2 PM for the Jury Pre-Trial and Motion hearing.  Borsch is charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child under the age of 13 (Class 3 Felony), Possession of Heroin 15-100 grams (Class 1 Felony), and Possession with the Intent to Deliver 15-100 grams of Heroin (Class X Felony).  Read more about his case here.

Rodney Smith:  Rodney Smith remains in the custody of the Henry County Jail on a $25,000 (10%) bond.  The Jury Pre-Trial for both cases is continued to November 17, 2022, at 10 AM.  Rodney D Smith is charged with Aggravated Battery/Victim 60+ (Class 3 Felony), Aggravated Battery in a Public Place (Class 3 Felony) and two counts of Domestic Battery/Physical Contact (Class A Misdemeanor).  Smith is charged with Aggravated Battery of a Child under 13/Bodily Harm (Class 3 Felony), Domestic Battery/Bodily Harm (Class A Misdemeanor) and Resist Peace Officer ( Class A Misdemeanor).  Read details about the case here.
