Dr. Chris Sullens has provided a statement to WKEI regarding the retirement of District Social Worker Robin O’Connor. “Robin O’Connor is always seeking ways to help our students and their families. She utilizes her talents and skills to bring multiple agencies together to help our students and their families. She is relentless in her efforts to ensure that students are safe and feel loved. Her efforts have made great differences in hundreds of children’s lives.” Robin O’Connor worked as a social worker for 27 years with Kewanee School District. O’Connor will be celebrated tonight at 6 PM at the Kewanee Elks Lodge.
