The Social-Emotional Learning Escape Room will be held at the Kewanee Public Library on Wednesday, August 2nd, from 12 Noon until 2 PM. This is an Escape Room event in which kids will use social and emotional learning skills to solve puzzles that will lead to escaping from a room. Kids will have to apply concepts of social-emotional learning in order to unlock the clues that lead to escape. The topic of the event, which will feature experts from Freedom House, is Conflict Resolution. It’s a fun way for kids to learn about resolving conflicts while using social and emotional learning skills doing something very, very fun. Freedom House welcomes RSVP’s to Lisa via email [email protected] but RSVP is not required in order to participate and all kids aged 9 to 11 are welcome to be part of the event.
