The Friends of the Hennepin Canal invite nature enthusiasts for their monthly Hike the Canal outing, scheduled for Sunday, February 18th. This hike will comprise the stretch from Lock 30 to Lock 32, a scenic 4.6-mile route named ‘Bald Eagle’. The hike promises possible glimpses of our national symbol, the bald eagle. The assembly point is at the Steel Dam in Milan at 1:30 pm. The organization encourages everybody to participate in these hikes, irrespective of their membership status with them.
