Crews will be working in the the areas of Grand Avenue, Division Street, Haynor Street, Oak Street, S Farnham Street, E South Street, Illinois Avenue, Washington Street, Indiana Avenue, Ohio Avenue, Michigan Avenue, Virginia Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue, E First Street, Iowa Avenue, Baird Avenue, Indiana Drive, Indiana Court, Clay Drive, Chappell Avenue, McMasters Avenue, Newcomer Drive, Whiting Avenue, E Knox Street, S Soangetaha Road, Springer Road, Wisconsin Avenue, E Second Street, Kimberly Terrace, US HWY 150 E and KNOX HWY 10 on July 12th, 2023. Hydrant testing will be conducted from Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Each day’s hydrant testing schedule will be posted daily on the City of Galesburg website as well as local radio stations and news media. There may be a slight drop in pressure or a presence of discoloration from the minerals and sediment that are being flushed out of the system. Service should not be disrupted during the flushing process.
