There will be no hydrant testing on July 3rd and 4th. Crews will be working in the area between Lincoln Street and East Main Street on July 4th,5th and 6th, 2023. Hydrant testing will be conducted from Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Each day’s hydrant testing schedule will be posted daily on the City of Galesburg website as well as local radio stations and news media. There may be a slight drop in pressure or a presence of discoloration from the minerals and sediment that are being flushed out of the system. Service should not be disrupted during the flushing process.
