At approximately 5 Am on Monday, January 16th, Galesburg Police were called to the area of 128 Blaine Avenue regarding a man laying in the yard of a home screaming. Arriving at the scene, Galesburg Police found the man having suffered a gunshot wound to the stomach. Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene and immediately took the victim to the Emergency Room at St. Mary’s Hospital where his condition is currently not been revealed. Galesburg Police meanwhile remain at the scene which they consider an active crime scene. Galesburg Police have stated they will release more information as it becomes available. For now, Galesburg Police are asking the public to send in any tips they may have regarding this shooting incident at 128 Blaine Avenue.
