The group Galva Ready to Grow has announced that they will hold a dinner in the park event on Wednesday, August 9th in Wiley Park. The dinner will run from 5 PM to 7 PM with Sloppy Joes on the menu along with chips, coleslaw, and a cookie. The cost is by donation which simply means whatever you would like to donate, is the cost of your meal. The Dinner in the Park is a fundraising event to benefit Galva CUSD 224 in the effort of getting new books for the library, funds for the Galva High School Baseball team, and funds for the Junior High Football team.
