A Geneseo based accounting firm is getting a new, larger location thanks to the Henry County Rural Revolving Loan Fund. According to information provided by Henry County Economic Development Director, Jim Kelly, Simosky Tax and Accouting, owned by Paula Simosky, is moving to a new location in Geneseo at 213 1st Street. It’s a new larger location for the company which will allow Paula Simosky to add two new employees. The move to the larger location and, the two new jobs added, were made possible, in part, by a loan from the Henry County Rural Revolving Loan Fund.
At the latest meeting of the Henry County Board, on Thursday, January 19th, Jim Kelly announced that the loan had been made and approved for $23,750.00. It’s the 91st loan approved from the Henry County Rural Revolving Loan Fund and Jim Kelly says there is more money available for other businesses in Henry County. If you are looking to expand a business or start a new business, you can be eligible for a loan from the Henry County Rural Revolving Loan Fund. Total money loaned from those 91 loans, $5.2 million dollars. Kelly says that these loans have helped retain 1,172 jobs in the Henry County area.
