Heartfelt Gifts has been a staple of downtown Kewanee for many years and will transition to Blissful Branch Boutique on January 21, 2023. Heartfelt Gifts, located at 224 N. Main Street, has a huge transition sale happening right now, where you can find deals on furniture, home decor, plus more. Sue Sagmoen and her husband Will are semi-retiring and , Tiffany Bockewitz, owner of Blissful Branch Boutique, will officially open on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 10 AM. Blissful Branch will continue to be a one stop shop for clothes, home decor and gifts, fudge, florals and a few new products. Sue Sagmoen will still be there making pre-made and custom floral arrangements, possibly adding larger arrangements for cemeterys and funerals.
Sue Sagmoen started thinking of a plan in the last year so she could retire from the day-to-day operations of running a business. Sue will have the freedom to make her own hours creating floral arrangements and not have to work every day and be responsible for running a business. Sue has a message for her customers, “Thanking them for their wonderful loyalty and being customers for so many years. We have seen grandchildren of some of my original customers are now my customers”. Tiffany Bockewitz worked for Heartfelt Gifts in December of 2020 while selling a small selection of clothing in store. Tiffany began selling more clothes from Blissful Branch in 2021. Tiffany plans to change the layout of the store while retaining the look and feel Heartfelt Gifts customers have known for 31 years. Blissful Branch will incorporate more clothes throughout the store while retaining the home decor, fudge, gifts and gift wrapping you see today. Tiffany said “My husband and I are very excited to take over this next challenge in our lives and we just hope the community keeps supporting us. It’s been awesome.”
Blissful Branch will officially open on February 3rd and a Grand Opening is planned for March 4th.
Heartfelt Gifts will close at the end of business on January 21st. Heartfelt Gift certificates purchased within the last 5 years will be honored by Blissful Branch but gift certificates purchased more than 5 years ago will need to be redeemed by close of business on January 21st. Store credits for Heartfelt Gifts will also need to be used by close of business on January 21st.
