If you are looking to start a business in Henry County then Jim Kelly, Henry County Director of Economic Development wants to help. In an appearance on Wake Up Tri-Counties on Friday morning, Kelly discussed how there are funds available from the Rural Revolving Loan Fund for businesses that are currently looking to make improvements or expansions as well as for new potential business owners. Kelly advised anyone interested in starting a business to contact their local bank first. Once the bank has decided to offer a loan, you can then get in touch with Henry County Economic Development and the Rural Revolving Loan Fund may be able to provide needed funds beyond what you can get from just a bank loan. The same applies to businesses seeking to make improvements to a location or expand upon a location. For more information on the Rural Revolving Loan Fund, contact Jim Kelly at 309-937-3410.
