The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating human remains that were found in rural Kewanee. According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, the remains were found over the weekend and are being investigated with the help of the Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services and mutual aid from the Kewanee Police Department. There is no danger to the public and no other information regarding this investigation is being released at this time.
