Students at Irving Elementary will be running a lemonade stand for charity on Friday, June 23rd. All proceeds will benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer. Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation has raised more than $250 million for childhood cancer and funded over 1,000 research projects that have saved the lives of kids fighting cancer with no treatment options left. “Alex’s Lemonade stand is part of the 21st CCLC grant-funded program brought through a partnership with the Kewanee School District and the Regional Board of Education.”
Irving Elementary students and staff are inviting everyone to come by Irving Elementary between 10 AM and 1 PM on Friday for a delicious glass of lemonade, and the chance to make a difference in the fight against childhood cancer.
