In January of this year, Paula’s Design Team celebrated 50 years in business. The story began in Galva but Paula and Jim have spent most of the last 50 years in business in Kewanee. Dave Clark and Sean talked with Paula and Jim about how the business has evolved over the years, taking on new challenges in expanded services while staying on the cutting edge of the latest trends in hair. It’s a constantly evolving industry with new things to learn every year. Paula, Jim and Dave also take time to reminisce about one of Dave’s famous stories about the time that Paula helped a local woman recreate the incredible Bo Derek braids from the 1980 movie 10. 50 years in business at Paula’s Design Team is the subject of this month’s Kewanee Back When.
