Extreme heat has forced the Kewanee Chamber of Commerce to move Thursday’s Concert in the Park indoors. This week’s concert featuring The Crooked Cactus Band AKA Los Nopales Chuecos is now going to take place at the Flemish American Club at 313 North Burr Boulevard. Showtime is 6:30 PM and the Kewanee High School FFA will have the lunch stand onsite as well beginning at 5:30 p.m. Petersen Healthcare will be providing Strawberry Shortcake for dessert and there will be an additional sweet treat as well for those who turn out on Thursday evening at the Flemish American Club.
