Seniors on the route for the Henry County Senior Center Home Delivered Meals program received a surprise this week. Girl Scouts Troop 4444 in Kewanee delivered 250 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to the Senior Center to distributed to those receiving meals from the Senior Center. Jacque Komnick with the Girl Scouts tells WKEI that for the past four years people have been donating boxes of cookies to be sent to soldiers overseas as well as for donation to Abilities Plus.
