One of the breakout stars of the Netflix series Last Chance U, inspirational speaker Brittany Wagner, is coming to Kewanee. According to information provided by Kewanee High School, the public is invited to come and hear from the Last Chance U star about overcoming obstacles and becoming your best. The event featuring Brittany Wagner gets underway at 6 PM this evening in the Petersen Auditorium at Kewanee High School. It’s free and everyone is invited to attend and be inspired. Last Chance U on Netflix featured Brittany Wagner as an Academic Advisor at East Mississippi Community College where she helped struggling football players stay on the right track and stay on the football field where they helped become one of the most formidable Junior College Football teams in the country. Her book, Last Chance You is inspired by her time at EMCC.
