The Kewanee Park Board met on Thursday, December 15th, in a meeting that was broadcast live on the WKEI Facebook. During the meeting, the Park Board passed their annual tax levy and it was announced that software has been purchased and will be implemented to allow for online sign-up for Parks activities. The goal is to have the online sign up ready to go for Soccer season, 2023. As for what’s left of 2022, Andrew Dwyer Director of the Kewanee Parks Department, spoke to WKEI about the beauty of the lights in Windmont and Northeast Park and praised generosity of those who lended their time to put up the lights and displays in each park. All that and more in our conversation with Kewanee Parks Director, Andrew Dwyer.
